Still no ‘real’ beads on the site, but how about some in 2D? I have a few copies of the newly released Bead Review 2005 available for preorder. They will be arriving soon. You can find them here:Bead Review 2005

I know, I know, I said I was going to put some new bead sets up this week but my current project has taken much more time than anticipated and to make matters worse we’re on our way out the door to speak with someone, and yes, it’s about the ‘project’. I will leave you with a cute sign (though totally unbead-related, that I saw at the end of the driveway belonging to a house in the country. Made me smile.
I buy a lot of items from Amazonand I have to say I haven’t had any problems with them. Of course, with many businesses the service is superb as long as everything goes right. Well, I had my first problem with Amazon. They had sent me an old model of a tool I use to clean my beads and when I went to purchase a back-up battery it didn’t work and the old batteries were unavailable. When I emailed them to tell them how unhappy I was, they wrote a nice email apologizing and refunded the entire purchase price! Now THAT is customer service.

Stay in touch this week, I’ll be posting some new things.
Well, we had almost ALL of it yesterday, in the way of weather at least. We had fog, we had rain, we had bright sunny warm skies, we had hail and we even had a tornado pass by over a neighboring town. Once we had it all, we had it all over again. And again. The weather just kept repeating these patterns until about mid-afternoon. The weather has definitely been a mystery these days. One good thing about yesterday for the weather forecasters, no matter what had forecast they were right!
I’ve got to scoot out the door right now before the blizzard strikes. I’ve got some new beads made so hopefully when all of the frenzy of activity lessens around here I’ll find some time to update the shopping sections.
Dorothy, is that you?? While we made it through last night’s flood watch unscathed (thanks to a few quick two-steps from Billy, it appears that now we are under tornado watch. Whaa?? Brings back memories of my childhood visiting our extended family in Oklahoma. My relatives were always WAY too relaxed in the face of the threat of tornado destruction to suit me. Here we would be standing in the doorway watching the trees do deep knee bends and toe touches and they calmly tell me to go on to bed, they will wake me if the winds get too strong. Huh?? How about I sleep in the root cellar?
What can I say? As much as my adrenalin is running at full throttle I have to rein myself in today or I will be typing several pages of endless, and most probably confusing chatter, that will leave you wondering if I’ve quite possibly had 100 cups of espresso today! I’m sorry to cut this short, I’m afraid my updates have been rather dry the last couple of months, but hopefully that will be remedied if not in the next week, perhaps the next couple of months. I have so many ideas buzzing around in my head I swear they are going to begin spilling out of my ears and start flying around the house. Uh-oh, there goes one now!!
